David Hutchins
David Hutchins grew up on a farm and ranch near Hereford, Texas. He joined Amarillo Brokerage Company in 1979 beginning an enjoyable and rewarding career in the commodity futures industry. In 1982, he began a partnership with George Enloe that has been a benefit to their customers as well as the company. As President of Amarillo Brokerage Company, David has primary responsibility for the well being of the company and customers. David's main focus is on agricultural risk management for livestock and grain producers and commercial cattle feeding companies but also enjoys investing, using commodity futures with a moderately aggressive approach. George Enloe
After growing up in a ranching and cattle feeding family, George Enloe began his career in 1979 on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. He moved to Amarillo in 1980 and joined Amarillo Brokerage Company. He and David Hutchins began their partnership in 1982. George and David have built their business primarily by providing top service to several of the top 20 cattle feeding operations, many smaller operations and individuals. George’s main focus is on risk management for livestock producers, cattle feeders and commercial cattle feeding companies but he also enjoys investing using agricultural futures with an approach that incorporates less leverage than the typical futures investment. Mike Leheska
Mike joined Amarillo Brokerage in April of 2002. He was raised on a cow/calf and feedlot operation in Pukwana, South Dakota. Mike graduated from South Dakota State University with a bachelor's degree in Animal Science with an emphasis in Ag Business and Marketing. During college, he interned with the S.D. Department of Ag, was a quality control intern at the Dakota City IBP plant, was a beef sales intern with Pharmacia Upjohn Animal Health, and coordinated a beef research project designed to increase palatability and tenderness in beef. Mike has worked extensively on researching seasonal and historical information for livestock and grains and his knowledge of the beef industry and passion for risk management makes him an excellent addition to our staff. Tyler Keeling
Tyler Keeling, a 2005 graduate of Texas A&M University, grew up in Hereford, Texas where he learned about cattle feeding working in his family’s commercial feedlot. After a year working for an agricultural pharmaceutical company, Tyler joined Amarillo Brokerage Company. Tyler is an integral part of the team and works hard to help agricultural producers develop hedging strategies and keep up with their inventories. Terry Scott
Terry Scott has been involved in feedyard ownership, management and agricultural risk management for the last thirty eight years. He joined Amarillo Brokerage in August 2001, after 20 years in the brokerage business in Dumas, Texas. Lindsay Solomon
Lindsay Solomon joined Amarillo Brokerage Company in January of 2008. She received her Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science degrees from Texas A&M University in Animal Science. While at A&M, she did extensive research for the Department of Meat Science and worked for Commerce National Bank. Lindsay is very excited about the future of hedging and investment in commodity futures.

Janet Scarth
Janet Scarth has been an integral part of Amarillo Brokerage since 1986. With an official title of Office Coordinator, she is the one that keeps the entire office running smoothly and efficiently. Janet is responsible for everything, except futures trading. That includes all customer documentation, maintenance of records, transferring funds....the list is endless. Having been involved in the ag industry most of her life, she instinctively understands our customers’ needs. There is a common saying around Amarillo Brokerage Company—“If you want it done right, talk to Janet!” |
